- Can you explain the booking process?
- Once you have made your selections and have added the selections to your cart, you will then proceed to check out where you will be asked for your travel dates, traveling/accommodation phone number and location on the island where you will staying. You will then see your complete order summary and area to input your credit card information. Please note that only an authorization will be run on the card when placing your order. Your credit card does not get charged until your services and/or excursion have been confirmed to be available with the provider. Once you have clicked the submit button your order will be processed accordingly. As we obtain confirmations from the providers, a confirmation voucher will be generated and sent to your email address. The voucher is required to be brought and presented at check-in or initiation of service. If we are not able to confirm availability for your request, an email notification will be sent notifying you that the service or activity is not available. Additionally, one of our concierge specialists will contact you to go over other possible options. In this situation, your credit card will not be charged the deposit.
- How much is the deposit amount for services or activities?
- The typical deposit to reserve an activity or service is 20% of the total. The deposit amount may vary. Once you have added an item to your cart the deposit amount for the respective service/activity will be reflected on the order sheet.
- Why do I need to provide where I will be staying and contact information?
- Your location and contact information is required in order to properly contact you for any cancellations or time or venue changes. We will also provide directions to excursions and activities from your hotel, villa or port location. Additionally, certain villas or hotels may not permit on site concierge services and may require prior authorization.
- Are there any credit card surcharges?
- We accept all major credit cards: American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. There are no credit card surcharges for deposits under $500. In the event, a deposit is over $500 or arrangements are made for full prepayment of a 3% surcharge will be assessed. Please note that full prepayment of an activity is available with an additional $15 convenience charge.
- What happens if I delete the e-mail with my voucher before I have printed the documents?
- All your vouchers can be accessed on line by clicking "My Account" at the top of any webpage and then clicking "Order Status & History"
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Please refer to the "cancellation policy" page. Please note some services and activities have less strict cancellation policies and if so they will be noted on your voucher(s).
- Can I prepay for the full amount for my activities/services prior to arriving on island?
- In most cases prepayment can be accommodated. There is a $15 convenience charge for any prepayment as well as a 3% credit card surcharge. - Am I able to order services or excursions without a credit card?
- Our online reservation system only allows booking items with a valid credit card. However, Concierge Blue does accept other methods of payment (personal checks, wire transfers, cash, and cashiers checks) but reservations need to be made via email at reservations@conciergeblue.com or by to speak with one of our concierge specialist at 1.888.704.BLUE (US & Canada) or 1.704.272.4000 (internationally).
- Which credit cards do you accept?
- Concierge Blue accepts all major credit cards including VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
- How do I cancel a confirmed reservation?
- If you have a confirmed booking that you need to cancel you will need to either e-mail us at support@conciergeblue.com or call to talk to one of our concierge specialist at 1.888.704.BLUE (US & Canada) or 1.704.272.4000 (internationally).
- What do I do if I need to make an adjustment to a confirmed reservation?
- If you have a confirmed booking and need to make changes please either e-mail us at support@conciergeblue.com or call to talk to one of our concierge specialist at 1.888.704.BLUE (US & Canada) or 1.704.272.4000 (internationally).
- What methods of payment can be used for the final payment?
- Some providers will accept credit cards for the final payment. Others only accept cash or traveler checks. Accepted forms of payment by the provider will be included on your confirmation voucher. Full prepayment is available for an additional fee.
